Job Description
1. Objective
- To hire a Global CSR Intern for a period of 12 months to strengthen the team’s capacity in data management, reporting, benchmarking, communications, and global event coordination. The intern will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations, fresh ideas, and enhanced visibility of global CSR initiatives at both internal and external levels.
2. Scope of Work
- The intern will support the Global CSR team in the following areas
A. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain CSR data dashboards, trackers, and records.
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reports for leadership disclosures.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely submission of data.
B. Benchmarking & Research
- Conduct market research on CSR and ESG best practices globally.
- Benchmark company initiatives against peers to identify improvement areas, especially to enhance employee volunteering at Bata Group.
- Present insights and propose innovative CSR project ideas.
C. Communications Support
- Draft content for internal newsletters, social media, and CSR reports.
- Coordinate with Communications to highlight impact stories and project updates.
- Support in preparing presentations for key stakeholders.
D. Global Conferences & Events
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and logistics of CSR conferences, events, and webinars.
- Document and prepare post-event reports.
3. Ideal Candidate Profile
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Sustainability, Social Impact, Business Management or Development Studies.
- Prior work experience would be an advantage.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with an eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, charts, etc.)
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of digital dashboards and analytics tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and manage multiple priorities.
